Wednesday Winner: Norman #1

It is nice to walk into stores and pick up your comics on Wednesday night. It is even nicer when some of the books you picked up can be sold for multiple times cover price by the end of the day. Norman #1 is one of them.
Norman #1 is selling for up to $17 already. Twenty-one copies have sold already today. There are only about 14 left on eBay right now.

  1. This book is great! Check it out if you guys get your hands on a copy.

  2. I believe Titan Comics released a HC of Norman last year that pre-dates these comics. They are available to purchase on Books a Million website. Says March of 2015 as publish date and Titan Comics as the publisher.

      1. So is it still worth getting then even though the HC was realeased? A lot of websites saying norman 1 is the one to get

        1. Yes two previous hard covers were released. This is the first single issue released. Yes Norman 1 is selling well. I sold three copies very quickly.

      2. @Jay,
I bought 3 copies at $3.99 each with a 20% discount. I listed two starting at $8.99 and both have bids already. That’s $16.98.. I’ve made my money back + some extra.. so I can now either sell the 3rd copy if it continues to do well or hold on to see if it heats up later.. but I basically got paid now to obtain a comic book.

  3. If the comics are reprints of past Hardcovers I would imagine that would pop a lot of people’s spec bubbles on this.

  4. “What many people don’t realize is that this is the THIRD volume of Norman. The first two volumes also released by Titan were released as TPB’s (still available on Amazon and other online retailers). If Norman has good content and grows a following the book to be looking for is Norman Volume #1 from 2015 released as a 64 page hardcover.”- comic scalp

    1. In my experience, most hardcore collectors seek out the individual comic books before seeking out TPB and Hardcovers though. Either have potential but right now, this latest release is hotter than the TPB and HC editions.

    1. I read the first two issues, thought it was okay. But yeah, it vanished as quickly as a fart in the wind…

  5. I bought 12 copies of HC vol 1 tpb off amazon just to tuck away… We’ll see where this goes…

  6. I got a few from DCBS. None of the local retailers had this book on Wednesday, so I haven’t even flipped through it yet. Cool to see it’s doing well.

  7. I believe they were released in France originally so maybe hunting down those might be a good bet.
