Fix #1 2nd Print – Didn’t make the list out 5/11 but didn’t sell 3,200 copies? Insane. Could be a sleeper.

Fix 2 Image 10,433

  1. I really hope Fix #1 gets hot. I managed to find quite a few copies a few weeks after it was released.

      1. With Image’s new printing rules.. my local shops are still trying to get rid of the 1st prints, so they haven’t been getting the 2nd or 3rd, which I’ve been ordering online. I think the 2nd and 3rd and beyond if any will be the key issues when this one does take off, which I think it will. It’s got movie or show written all over it.

      2. I hope it’s show. I would imagine it’s gonna need about a dozen or so issues before anyone would look at it. Don’t know how many predicaments these two cops can get into, but it would be a fantastic anti cop show. If it’s a short series than movie all the way.

      3. I’ve picked up so many 1st, 2nd and 3rd prints that it’s not even funny right now.

      4. I’m loading up on The Fix as well. You guys should not overlook Renato Jones 1% either, those two are going in the same spec. box.

      1. I think this is more his style. He did Superior Foes of Spider-Man for 17 issues.. I could see this one going that long for sure.

    1. The Fix plot is getting more complex only three issues in. Spencer had a chance to just send the two cops’ storylines back towards each other, but instead it seems like the plot is only thickening. Big cliff-hanger in issue 3!

  2. Hey guys I just had a random question. I wasn’t into comics for the launch of the new 52. I know rebirth is on “fire” or was selling out here and there. My lcs has stacks upon stacks still of almost all rebirth titles. In comparison did new 52 take off the same way? Or am I just blessed that my shop has a lot of copies of all titles? Just wondering because I keep picturing the new batman 1 being a long term book(and hoping lol) if you could just give me comparisons to rebirth and new 52 launches it would be much appreciated.

    1. I think you’re a bit blessed. I have a sub service that has back ordered a ton of issues on me so far that I’ll never see. I’ve had to go online, and start a pull from my local LCS that couldn’t even pull all I asked for this week and they’ve been selling out of all the issues same day they’re released. It’s crazy. I’m barely getting both covers for the issues in my pc.

      1. My Lcs only ordered 5-10 of each rebirth outside of the batman and superman stuff. I was there 1st in line as they were unpacking their order Wednesday and I couldn’t get a Titans rebirth all 3 copies they got went to pulls.

  3. Wow that’s bs….are most of these shops that sold out in big big city’s like new York etc? I’m in cali and most shops around me have Tons left.

    1. It’s all supply and demand. Most if not all of my shops are all out as well, at least the shops I frequent which is the 3 main ones in the city, I’m in Austin.

      1. Actually I lie.. I forgot one shop got a second wave from an reorder in but since these were selling well, all of his were bumped to the $8.99 – $9.99 range.

    2. I’m in a city with 2 major shops. I’m assuming the one closest to me under ordered as they weren’t expecting the demand. But yeah, those are tough books to come by in my town. Right now I wish I was in a bigger city with more shops.

  4. I’m in Birmingham, AL, which has 4 LCS and a 2nd & Charles. All 5 stores are sold out everything Rebirth that released in June and only 1 store has copies of the Rebirth special left. The LCS I shop in has told me that they tripled or quadrupled their orders for Rebirth over what those same titles were selling at in April, and it still hasn’t been enough to meet demand.

  5. Damn I am blessed then. Sorry guys. So back to my other question, did new 52 sell this well or fly off the shelf as quick?

    1. In my area most titles did. I did remember some of the bigger stores having copies around for a couple of days (kick myself for not getting more at the time)

    2. At my store, the New 52 was even more popular than Rebirth. During week 3 of the New 52 #1s, my LCS had a line of 20 or so people at open, & we were “sold out” (not counting copies in pull lists) of 11 of the 13 titles within 15 minutes. By comparison, last week we sold out of all Rebirth by close on Thursday.

  6. Scooby Apocalypse #1 just missed the top 10 came in at #11, did anyone read it if so how was it. I did not get my pre-orders yet,so far I have it pre-ordered up to issue #3 not sure how many more I will get.

    1. I liked it. People hated it. People still bought it. I love Scooby Doo and thought it was a fresh take on the same story. People got upset with the changes but look at the way the last two tv series have changed the status quo with the gang.

      1. I thought Lee was going to be illustrating it so I am disappoint. I did get the Joelle Jones cover because 1) Daphne!!! 2) It’s Joelle Jones!

    2. I liked it too. I thought it was a bit slow but I’m looking forward to #2 and to see where it’s going. They have Watchmen Comedian button references in both issues so far.
It was FAR better than Wacky Raceland. That book was all over the place. I have to go back and look at the panels to see if there’s a Smiley button in that one.

      1. In issue #1 it was a few pages in on the pizza vendors vest I think. I haven’t read issue 2 yet, but someone posted a pic of it hanging on the drivers side mirror of the survival looking van/rv thing that I guess is the mystery machine?
Looked through Wacky last night, no button, so it’s not showing up everywhere. Just a few nods here and there. There’s one in Titans rebirth too, on the wall in the diner.

  7. I’m in San Diego and we have 11 comic shops within a 15 mile range. All stores have been sold out of rebirth. When the new 52 came out, the hardest one to get for me was Justice League.

    1. And I know someone said it earlier somewhere, but I wouldn’t wait to pre order Harley Quinn #1, and the Suicide Squad #1 if those are ones you want to read. Shops might anticipate the demand due to the Movie and sales so far, but I’m not taking a chance. I pre ordered a few so I know I won’t miss out.

  8. I’m glad to see Spider-Gwen selling so well. Harley Quinn, Ms. Marvel…not as well. Maybe Edge of Spider-verse #2 has a shot at being a key comic 10-15 years from now…
