The coming-of-age story, which debuted in September 2015, centers on a group of suburban kids who stumble across the body of the world’s greatest superhero, and then struggle with the fallout of their decision to keep their discovery a secret.
According to Deadline, the film rights were acquired by Waypoint Entertainment, which this spring snatched up “American Jesus” by Mark Miller and Peter Gross, and “Supercrooks” by Millar and Leinil Francis Yu.
Waypoint’s Ken Kao and Dan Kao will produce “Plutona” with Addictive Pictures’ Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder under a first-look deal.
“Descender,” the sci-fi comic by Lemire and Dustin Nguyen, is also in development at Sony Pictures.

      2. No, that’s Austin Books eBay seller. It’s sort of independent from the actual store, the guy operates out of Dallas I think. I think he gets a certain amount or takes on the remaining stock when they can’t sell locally in the store, is my hunch.
        The last time I was at the store, they had stacks of Plutona.

  4. My daughter liked Emi Lenox for a couple of years prior to Plutona. She makes a point to say “Hi” to Emi whenever we see her at a con or a signing. Have a couple of signed Plutonas with sketches. My daughter has read the EmiTown volumes multiple times.

  5. Wow, I just watched Plutona #1 NM copies on MCS jump from $3.00 to $8.00. They are on top of the news! Also of note, there was a preview for Plutona in the Image Expo Preview Book that came out in July, 2015 which two months before Plutona #1.

  7. Mycomicshop already bumped the price up. Still a handful on Ebay from $1.50 to $3. A very small handful! Worth getting at least one for the pc!

    1. That’s a shame at the time I wrote the article they were three dollars I’m guessing that they saw a bunch of orders come through all it wants and have some kind a failsafe in place to raise the price went to get multiple orders a short time
