Welcome back CHUniverse to another edition of weekend specs. This week we have news of the Suicide Squad villain, news of who’s in the capsule in Supergirl, and confirmation from Jim Lee that Wildstorm comics will be joining DC’s Rebirth. Lots of DC news this week, time to get ready for some back issue hunting, so, lets jump in.
This will be a spoiler for Suicide Squad so if you want to stay spoiler free don’t scroll down.
It appears that Incubus will be the villain for the Suicide Squad Movie, his first appearance is Suicide Squad #14 1st series. Final credits were released today, and while for some reason Batfleck wasn’t credited, we did get credits for Incubus as well as Flash in the upcoming movie. Batfleck not being credited is leading to wild speculation that perhaps the Batman in Suicide Squad is some kind of imposter, however Batfleck is still on the IMDB as uncredited and was seen during the filming, King Shark shows up on the uncredited list as well, Superboy #0
for first cameo and Superboy #9
for first full King Shark.
In Supergirl news it appears that Mon-El will be emerging from the Kryptonian pod on the Supergirl series. His first appearance would be Superboy #89. Could be a great storyline going into the new season of Supergirl with the addition of Superman and Mon-El.
Jim Lee announced Wildstorm comics are headed to the DC Rebirth. Malibu Sun #15, Wildcats #1, Stormwatch #1
, Stormwatch vol. 2 #4
, Deathmate Black #1
are great cheap spec pickups that will have you just about covered for Wildstorm related first appearances.

King Shark will not be in the movie, the actor was cast and was suppose to be part of the squad but Ayers didn’t want to do a full cgi character. Smart move as it would be hard to top King Shark from the Flash television series.
I saw that article as well, and then heard a rumor that could be a feint and there IS a King Shark. I am unsure what the case is. I’m leaning more towards the idea that he isn’t in the movie and it is just fans guessing he could be somehow.
So what about old comics with flash vs boomerang since the credits are order of all and flash is next to bomerrang. You think those are good specs? Any u reccomend?

Movie cause there gonna fight? Ive looked at a few and there not moving much, is it cause not to many people know yet his gonna be in the movie fighting eachother?
For old Boomerang keys other then Flash #117 1st appearance. Flash vol 1 #124, #148, #155, #174, #209 also Suicide Squad #1, #44 could be a thing if Boomerang is in the coming Flash movie, I also read Boomerang could possibly get a solo movie in the future. On the other hand some reports I’ve read of Suicide Squad movie reviews say that he is barely in the movie and you see most of his scenes in the trailers.

Great spec Alana and awesome info. I always tread lightly on villains in movies. Buy cheap before the movie comes but I never hold after the movie is released. Prices tend to drop on villain appearances after the movie comes out

I think Secret Origins 28 (1988) is a prelude to Suicide Squad #14 and has the first cameo appearance of Incubus.
