WOW!! I like the new spidey suit.
It looks like a tweaked version of the original design for the black costume. It was red and black before Shooter had it switched to black and white (if I’m not mistaken.

Are the variants incentive variants?
Don’t think so. Midtown had the Black Panther variant at cover price but then again, Midtown orders enough to give variants at cover a lot of the time.
The costume looks a lot like the black suit prototype from Marvel Age 12.
The Black suit was supposed to have a red logo and eyes originally if I remember what I had heard/read/drunkenly made up correctly. In fact, didn’t Venom even have a red symbol during his tenure with the thunderbolts again remember/read/drunkenly made up
