Sheriff of Babylon on TV?

Is Tom King’s Sheriff of Babylon getting optioned for TV? Tom King’s creator owned comic from vertigo shot up in price a while ago and then settled back down. It is a hell of a read and the first issue grabs you by the throat. This current speculation is based off a tweet put out by King today.
This is where speculation gets fun. Copies of SHERIFF OF BABYLON #1 are priced all over the board on eBay, but not many copies are up. Copies are also up on Amazon for $17.99 and up.

Tom King hasn’t worked on that many books, and this is his only creator owned title.  Unless of course, he is working on a DC tv show, Sheriff of Babylon seems like the book it could be.

Thanks to John for pointing out the Tweet

  1. I sold 15 of these at 11.99 + shipping since your article saying to pick em up way back when. Down to one PC copy oh well, take the money when it comes still happy with what I made off this spec.

    1. Sadly I sold all mine. Including the multiple signed copies I had down when Tom King first rolled through town. Wish I had kept one n

  2. Funny thing I took my copy out if my PC to list it this up coming weekend. Will hold on to it a little longer to see if it gets more heat.

  3. Picked up a #1 off the rack this past weekend, couldnt quite believe it at first since they’ve been sold out for so long. But there it was, cover price and all 🙂

  4. No word of lie, I picked two copies of #1 (and two copies of #2!) in the Sheffield Space Centre in the UK today for £3 each. I checked the old issues long boxes and was surprised to see them. Having read this, I’m going to hold onto them I think.
