This morning at the retailers breakfast at the Diamond Retailer Summit, DC announced Justice League Vs. Suicide Sqaud.
Jim Lee and Dan Dido made the announcement this morning.
The six issue event written by Joshua Williamson will start in December and run through January. Suicide Squad #9 and #10 will be cross over issues in December and Justice League #12 and #13 will crossover in January.

Weird, I would think that would be a one shot since the justicde league would destroy the suicide aquad in one pannel, doesnt seem like a fair fight :p
…and in 3 or so years we can look forward to a movie with the same title and concept, I bet.
Yes, I’m being a tad snarky, but you know DC has it at least in the back of their mind, if they aren’t already consciously thinking about putting the Suicide Squad characters together with the Justice League (if its movie does well) in some sort of big brawl.
The idea sounds good. I just hope that they don’t make all these variants for them.
Oh you know that there will be a ton of variants for this, each character on both teams will have their own cover in color and b/w……. for each issue maybe. Don’t forget about the store variants, blank and maybe 3D.
