Night Trap #3 Error Update

I wrote back on the 11th of August about the Error that occurred in Night Trap #3. I sent messages to Lions Forge Comics in reference to it and did not get an answer. I took the opportunity to walk over to Lions Forge’s table and ask about it.
The rep from Lions Forge was extremely nice and in addition to talking about comic creators we want to meet, I asked what was the deal with the error.
I was informed that a new print has been sent to Diamond and they will be distributed to stores for free based on the numbers ordered (essentially one for every one ordered). The error book will not be recalled as the logistics for a small company would be too much.
The rep did mention that they were trying to get the word out about the replacements and was asking for ideas. Laughing I mentioned I would run one but to also hit up some of the big comic news sites as well. (So as of 11:51 am on Thursday, this is the only post on it.)

  1. Weird; I thought I had commented on this thread back when it was first posted. Maybe there is a 3rd article out there I’m not seeing at the moment? Anyhow, I finally got my replacement copy from DCBS… and it’s the exact same thing as the previous one! They claim I was sent a corrected copy, and that they no longer have any copies of the book left. Has anyone received a corrected copy yet?
I actually held off on reading this issue when I first got it since I knew I’d hit a snag with the misprint, but when I sat down to read this “corrected copy”, then hit the 2 wrong pages, I figured I may as well finish it… and one of your past commenters was right. It almost reads like some of the correct pages are out of order as well. After the 2 pages that were from a previous issue (with the younger guy confronting the old guy that was watching them outdoors) the rest of the issue is pretty jumbled. I’m going to start searching for a corrected copy. It looks like the Lion’s Forge website only sells digital copies of Night Trap, and I can’t seem to find a way to Contact Them. The source would have been easier than now having to ask every seller to check the middle of the book to see if one of the dead characters is suddenly alive again in a scene that doesn’t fit the story, lol.
