Cue the stories about valuable books going missing from some of the booths…
They gave everybody with a one-day Saturday pass a free pass to go on Sunday that was pretty nice but yes Cue the missing valuable book stories
We have a local comic con here in Stockton California and a LCS had a bunch of books lifted. The sob story is that Giant Sized X-men was one of the books. Cap 100 and some others stolen. An old lady posed as the distraction while the others somehow stole the books, well that’s what the guys running the both figured, but not confirmed. Either way, the police did nothing and said that’s the reason you need to keep a better eye on your stuff.

Yes. That was Drunk Wooky’s book. I didn’t want to lie and say that I wasn’t having the book graded. But the book was not graded and for sale. I was doing that for a favor of Wooky. He charged me $10 for the signature because I had window holes cut in it.
