The Walking Dead #162 is out this Wednesday. It features what is labeled the final chapter of the Whisperer War, but trust me, it ain’t over. Here is a quick review and Spoilers.
As Always, the click the images for the spoil protected images. Do not read on if you do not want to be spoiled as the text could give away some of the story.
You have been warned…..
The final issue of Whisper War goes out not with a bang, but with a whimper (and then a roar.) It was a great read, but not heavy on the action, more build up than anything. So let’s get to it:
We see the softer side of Negan, really not anything we have seen before.
Plans for the Hilltop are made.
Lydia opens up about life with the Whisperers
Beta is scheming
Eugene stockpiling for things to come? He has been clearly working hard.
Dwight fills in Rick, but Rick is a little concerned
Rick is always the strategist and sees the play from a mile away
Beta scheme is put into action
And the “Oh $#!+” moment
So, while Whisperer War is over, it is clear the “Nuclear Option” launched by Beta will be something that will have to be dealt with for a while.

Your telling me, Carl doesn’t die? Sigh..
I really thought Rick’s time was coming
Nope, never. When Rick dies, the story ends. 😉
For once I’m not reading the spoilers
That ok not to.
Oh snap!
Is that still a thing? Can I still say oh snap?
Lol. Yes, yes you can say “oh snap”
First appearance of the Million Zombie March
Heh.
I feel a disturbance in the Walking Dead lives…. They might be homeless and without walls soon enough.
