GLITTERBOMB arrives in paperback this March

One thing that I have gotten requests for is more news on good reads in trade form. I have been trying to spotlight new series that we have liked, Glitterbomb is an awesome read.
Collecting the first four issues, plus inside-Hollywood essays from Holly Raychelle Hughes
Fan-favorite writer Jim Zub (WAYWARD, SKULLKICKERS) and red-hot new artist Djibril Morissette-Phan (The Ultimates, All-New Wolverine) will release the first trade paperback collection of their explosive horror series GLITTERBOMB this March from Image Comics.

Farrah Durante is a middle-aged actress hunting for her next gig in an industry where youth trumps experience. Her frustrations become an emotional lure for something horrifying out beyond the water: something ready to exact revenge on the shallow, celebrity-obsessed culture that’s led her astray.
“GLITTERBOMB is a very special project for Djibril and I,” said Zub. “Delving into the dark heart of celebrity with wonderful collaborators like K. Michael Russell, Marshall Dillon, and Holly Raychelle Hughes has been a thrill. We’re excited for readers to read this opening salvo as we reload and take aim at new targets in the next story arc.”
The entertainment industry feeds on our insecurities, desires, and fears. You can’t toy with those kinds of primal emotions without them biting back…

  1. I discussed on my blog not really liking the first issue but coming about by the 4th and being pretty entertained (and disturbed). Good suggestion as this will read great in trade.

  2. I’ve actually been waiting for the TPB.. been picking up the books, read #1 but also wanted to read the story arc’s all in one sitting.
