  1. I am only interested in the variants in my mind…Best covers ever…you should see them! Too bad I can’t afford them, so off to that place where I forget everything after I get distracted by something shiny.

  2. Well I’m guessing I’ll have to buy my copies on feebay as in London the three main comic shops now charge 50 to 100% more then eBay now for their variants… jokers… Lol
Not too long ago these shops we’re slagging rip off eBay, now look who’s putting greedy profits into their pockets…
    shame on you …

    1. I live in the US, and there is a store about 30 minutes away that was charging $10 to $15 for each of the DC Future’s End 3D covers on the Day they were Released! I guess they were banking on some of them going up in value like the Villain’s Month ones did the previous year, but a comic shop that will not charge cover price for a book on the day it is released is criminal (and these were not even variants; and of course they charge obscene prices for the variants, too). And I think the only covers that ended up selling for more than cover price were Harley Quinn & Suicide Squad. I think karma stuck it to them when I found a copy of Hulk#182 in their Quarter Bins and felt no guilt at all for stealing this book for 25 cents. They had no idea what it was, and it wasn’t even in a bag & board. That’s what happens when comic shops focus on variants & shiny covers, and don’t care about back issues at all. Hmm. I may need to take a trip back up there sometime to see if they’ve put more gems in their trash…
