    1. I am getting to it I promise. Was at the hospital with my mom from 4 am on as she had another heart procedure. Trying to get my two boys to bed. Have been doing posts on the in between.

        1. Yup, thanks for asking. She had a heart attack in February and then one in June. They went in both times to fix things. They went in today to finish things up before she had another one. All clear

    1. Thanks brother. Lost my dad about 8 years ago and it was unavoidable. Trying to keep my mom around as long as possible.

    1. Yeah it’s crazy. Without the kind of treatment that medical advances have come up with, the outcome would not have been so pleasant.

  1. I hope your mom has a quick recovery Tony. I lost my dad when I was 21 and have had my mom there for me for the past 16 years so I know how you could be feeling, man. On top of everything my wife doesn’t have any parents left so my kids only have 1 grandparent (my mom), so I hope she lives for a long time. Keep strong man and best wishes.

      1. I did the same. It’s hard to balance my time with my own family (I have two kids also) and my time with my mom sometimes, though. You seem like you are a good son. I hope she realizes that and appreciates it. There are so many things we take for granted in this world. Keep showing your sons that support for your mom. That’s a good example for them to grow up with.
