Superstar writer/artist Daniel Warren Johnson (Space Mullet) and colorist Mike Spicer will kick off a new arc in the dystopian epic this October from Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment.
Issue #7 arrives this October and features a regular cover and a Walking Dead #108 Homage variant.
In EXTREMITY, an endless cycle of violence has taken an incredible toll on two cultures—and one family in particular. Thea was once a gifted artist, but in the wake of a brutal amputation, she became consumed by a thirst for revenge. In Issue #7, Thea and her brother Rollo enter the Ancient Dark, where they are hunted by things that dare not live in the light above.
“The second arc is something I’m excited to share with everyone,” said Johnson. “I put a tremendous amount of time into building up the world below that readers haven’t seen yet, so it’ll be refreshing to finally show it off!”

Man, I need to get back into extremity. I was loving it, but Redneck edged it out for a spot in my monthly reading time quota.
Awesome! this has been my new favorite book to read
I’ve only read the first two issues.. now I’m waiting for the TPB. That’s my goal moving forward, buy issue 1 or 2, if I like, I wait so I can get more story in at at time since my reading list is huge, it’s hard to keep up with so many different story lines one book at a time. The other reason is, this cuts back on the amount of comics accumulating around the house. Unless a series becomes something like the Walking Dead where issues beyond #1 heat up.. I don’t need every single issue separately.
I’m really enjoying this as well. Just wish it were going to be longer than 12 issues.
I have this in my pullbox. I was going to drop it after the first arc, but when I heard it was ending with issue 12 I decided to go until the end. Only read the first 3 issues so far but I like it.
Yeah, this is one of those books where I don’t even drive away from my LCS before I read the book. It’s that good, for me.
