Comic Picks of the Week for Delivery 10/4/17

Each week hundreds of new comics hit the stands, each with potential. Some live up to that potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. Here are our picks of the week for delivery 10/4/17

Returning Favorites
Cannibal #8 – I do love this interpretation of the classic zombie trope, except they are more… Cannibals.

Paper Girls #16 – BKV’s odd ball time travel book, just a good read.

Regression #5 – I like this Cullen Bunny psychological horror book. Will probably pick up the Walking Dead cover.

Spread #22 – Spread is one of my all time favorite books. It is getting closer to the end.

Motor Girl #9 – love this Terry Moore Book. About a girl and her imaginary gorilla friend, and so much more.

Hillbilly #8 – The return of the Eric Powell self-published book. Awesome read.

The DC One
Batman White Knight #1 – Sean Murphy doing Batman, where Joker is the good guy… I am looking forward to this.

The One with the Walking and the Dead
Walking Dead #172 – Great read and a surprise return this week. Spoilers forth coming.

The One for the Cover
Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica #1 Adam Hughes Cover – I am sure this will not shoot up in price overnight. But Hughes books are good long term holds.

Pick of the Week
Weed Magic #1 – Listings currently as high (get it) as $20 and completed sales as high as $24.20, it is worth grabbing a copy or two. Sold out at many online shops, but this online shop has some for cover price of $4.20 but these will not last long. There is a NYCC variant for this too I hear. Move in and move out. List fast as under cutters always set in.

Will there be a pink signature variant for Manifest Destiny?

Maybe… but everytime there has been one, they’re listed on eBay at least the day before. None currently from my searches.
