October was a big month in comics. As per normal, Marvel may have carried both Market Share and Dollar Share for October, but not by much.

    1. I’m not that surprised myself. First appearances will always be the issues that end up being key. Even deaths cause a stir but the characters always make their way back.
      The proposal and the answer both will catch some heat if there ever is a wedding but I’d imagine they both sizzle off quickly soon afterwards again. It’s certainly like the stock market, one roller coaster ride for comic values and demands.. 🙂

    1. All marketing gimmicks. A lot of their issues approaching those big numbers so they’ll make a big deal with them, charge a few extra bucks for oversized #800 issue or what not. Eventually we’ll find ourselves back at Vol 18 #1 all over again…
      I’m done with the numbering (and if it has any significance), stopped caring. It’s just now a way to track the issue for me.

  1. Not that surprised. Every time I turn my head there is a new Dark Nights Metal tie in. For the sake of my wallet I try to stick to the ones that look the best (and the ones CHU gives hints on). They are awesome reads though.
