Kind of surprised the proposal answer didnt heat up anymore. Bit of a bummer.
I’m not that surprised myself. First appearances will always be the issues that end up being key. Even deaths cause a stir but the characters always make their way back.
The proposal and the answer both will catch some heat if there ever is a wedding but I’d imagine they both sizzle off quickly soon afterwards again. It’s certainly like the stock market, one roller coaster ride for comic values and demands.. 🙂
Poor Marvel..their legacy numbering left them in the middle of the pack.
All marketing gimmicks. A lot of their issues approaching those big numbers so they’ll make a big deal with them, charge a few extra bucks for oversized #800 issue or what not. Eventually we’ll find ourselves back at Vol 18 #1 all over again…
I’m done with the numbering (and if it has any significance), stopped caring. It’s just now a way to track the issue for me.
Not that surprised. Every time I turn my head there is a new Dark Nights Metal tie in. For the sake of my wallet I try to stick to the ones that look the best (and the ones CHU gives hints on). They are awesome reads though.
