Stabbity Bunny #2 Gets New Mutants #87 Homage Variant

Stabbity Bunny is one of Scout Comics best selling book. Scout has put out a lot of great comics over the past couple of years, and thanks to Richard Rivera’s hard work, Stabbity Bunny #1 is one of their biggest sellers yet. People have taken notice of this book. In honor of Stabbity Bunny doing so well, Scout will be releasing a Stabbity Bunny #2 1:7 New Mutants #87 Homage Variant

This has not been released in Diamond as of yet, so we have the exclusive news on this thanks to the creator, Richard Rivera. Richard has been on the con circuit for a while, hand selling the single self published issues, and the self published collected hard covers. (I got to hang out with him at Baltimore Comic Con and watch him I action.) Richard said this about the cover:

Thanks to everyone who ordered Stabbity Bunny #1 and made it one of Scout Comics’ bestsellers! Scout wants to keep up that momentum, so they have a special retailer incentive cover, a 1:7 offering, that pays homage to New Mutants #87! Nothing is guaranteed, but it could be one of the rarest rabbits to date! Don’t miss out.

  1. The Old Speculator
I prefer the recent Caspar the Friendly Ghost #2 Homage cover to Marvel Comics #1 that came out on 11/15. Hot Stuff replaces the Human Torch melting through a wall while Caspar’s pointer finger replaces a handgun. Two of Harvey Comics most popular characters and most likely a low print run. I miss Harvey Comics.

    1. Are you reading Die Kitty Die? It is a spoof of the old Harvey characters. It is funny, a little cheeky without being raunchy. It’s like the True Hollywood Story Of Harvey Comics.

  2. No, I’m not. I’ve looked at it several times, including this morning, but I’ve always put it back on the shelf. I’m sure it’s good if you say so but I can only buy so much.
Thank you for this website Anthony. I greatly appreciate all your time and effort. It brings me a lot of pleasure. Merry Christmas!
