Blind Adam’s Hidden Gem Vol. 76

Greetings to my Comics Heating Up and Awesomesauce families. Thank you everyone for reading this each and every week. Lets make the money with some comics.

1. Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man #107 – First appearance of Sin Eater. Sin Eater is speculated to be in Daredevil Season 3. Daredevil on Netflix is Awesome Sauce.

2. Daredevil #254 – First appearance of Typhoid Mary. A very underrated character. Marvel first appearances should be grabbed up and this one still can be on the cheap. Typhoid Mary is rumored to be in the second season of Jessica Jones.

3. Captain Marvel #50 – Anthony just put this out tonight, but earlier today it was mentioned that Doctor Minerva will be in Captain Marvel and this is her first appearance.

4. Total Eclipse #1 Image Comic’s Todd McFarlane bought all the Eclipse properties back in the day, or so he thought. I remember this being a hot book back in 2001 for Miracle Man, reasons just a cool preview book to have and a neat peace of Image Comics history.

5. Nova #29 (2015) – A new character was leaked out for the Avengers Infinity War Movie. It looks like it is going to be Warbringer. Well, Warbringer first appears here and it is a cheap spec if you can get it.

6. Batman #23 – Tom King Swamp Thing. Did anyone read the Swamp Thing Winter Special? It was awesome. As I would welcome a Tom King written Swamp Thing series, heck, it would get Tom King off of Batman. His batman is decent but issue #40 came off weak but this Swamp Thing issue was great $3-5

7. Swamp Thing #141 – first Mark Millar written Swamp Thing. Mark Millar is the greatest comic book writer of all time,  #testify. His Swamp Thing was a great run, in my top five Swamp Thing runs of all time $5-10

8. web of spiderman #18 – first appearance of Eddie Brock tough black cover
where is spiderman $10 and up

9. Wolverine #154155 – Rob Liefeld, Wolverine, and Deadpool equals money. Money and deadpool are friends $10 and up

10. Fantastic Four #48 Wizard Ace Edition – New talks about Silver Surfer getting his own movie, and his appearances in Thanos have been Awesomesauce. Maybe we get silver surfer in the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie $10-20

11. What If #105 – first Spider-Girl. Remember when this book was all the rage, it comparatively cheap now, like 1999 cheap, when it was a wall book $20 and up

12. Punisher Max #75 – final issue of the epic series started by Garth Ennis. Punisher by Ennis was #awesomesauce. I am now buying all Ennis Punisher as between great new material and the upcoming Netflix shows Frank will make the money $2-5

13. Spiderman vs Venom trade paperback – 1st print Venom is on fire. this reprints Amazing Spiderman #300 plus #315-317 plus #298-299 cheap way to obtain the first Venom. Trades are back issues with thicker spins $20

14. Wolverine Origins #25 – reprints New Mutants #98. Deadpool 2 coming, first Deadpool, cheap like under ten dollars cheap

15. Curse of the Spawn #1 Black and White variant – just an off beat Spawn variant from the mid 1990s. Details about the new movie are coming out plus the Spawn book is great again, lot’s of talk of Spawn Variants this week $20

love you guys see you next week time for dinner

    Great list! Thanks Adam!

  2. David Bitterbaum says:

I didn’t know that what-if with Spider-Girl’s first appearance went down so much! I could actually afford one now!

  3. OC_GUY says:

Picked up a couple of copies of Nova #29 for cover price. Can’t beat that for cheap specs!

  4. Jeff DeMarco says:

Great list as always Adam!!!! I’m a huge Batman collector, but that gets monotonous sometimes. Your lists always add a bunch of fun when I’m digging through boxes. I always grab whatever I can from Hiddem Gems lists whether they make money or not. Just grabbed a bunch of Ren & Stimpy issues.
    Thanks
