The creative team behind Green Arrow and Old Man Logan—New York Times bestselling and Eisner Award winning writer Jeff Lemire (ROYAL CITY, DESCENDER) and critically-acclaimed artist Andrea Sorrentino—launched GIDEON FALLS today to critical acclaim and served fans another breakout hit. Issue #1 of the highly anticipated horror/mystery series is being rushed back to print on the same day as its release in order to keep up with overwhelming customer demand.
In GIDEON FALLS, the lives of a reclusive young man obsessed with a conspiracy in the city’s trash, and a washed up Catholic Priest arriving in a small town full of dark secrets become intertwined around the mysterious legend of The Black Barn, a otherworldly building that is alleged to have appeared in both the city and the small town, throughout history, bringing death and madness in its wake.
GIDEON FALLS #1 will remain available for purchase across all digital platforms, including the Image Comics website (imagecomics.com), the official Image Comics iOS app, Comixology’s website (comixology.com), iOS, Android, and Google Play.
GIDEON FALLS #1, 2nd printing will be available on Wednesday, April 4th. The final order cutoff deadline for retailers is Monday, March 12th.
GIDEON FALLS #2 Cover A by Sorrentino (Diamond FEB180628) and Cover B by Cliff Chiang (Diamond Code FEB180629) will be available on Wednesday, April 11th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, March 19th.

It’s getting to the point now that Image might as well put “1st printing of 2” on the cover.
lol.
Haha… So true
You’re joking, but is there any new Image release lately that hasn’t gotten rushed back to 2nd print? I think, “The Beef,” maybe isn’t as Shaky Kane is an acquired taste for many, but 99% of new Image books get a 2nd printing!
Very few haven’t gone to 2nd print.
It is cleary a promotional marketing to keep eyes on a title for a few days or weeks longer.
Unless you have Kirkman money… that guy will just print up a warehouse full of 1st prints.
you forgot the .9
It’s all marketing BS if you ask me for a lot of these “rushed back for 2nd printing”.. A majority of them that are getting second prints my local shops still had stacks of first prints available. This marketing nonsense is killing Image’s reputation for me. Maybe some shops have ordered light and have put in orders for 2nd prints for some of these but I’m still smelling BS for the most part.
waiting for the “rush” themed variant
picked up the Jock variant
Waiting for the GIDEON FALLS (AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN’T) variant
