When we last saw Cosmic Ghost Rider, he was dead. Well, he was dead and ended up in Valhalla. As you could imagine, the insane Punishing Spirit of Vengeance could get on your nerves. Especially, if you are Odin. This is where Cosmic Ghost Rider #1 picks up.
I can honestly say that Cosmic Ghost Rider #1 is the craziest, funniest book I have read in a while. Donny Cates does not disappoint. The humor is there. The art is very different from hat was in Thanos, but it fits the lighter mood.

The question has been, Cosmic Ghost Rider is dead, how are you going to do a new story?
Frank wants to go back to the land of the living, but does not want the insanity being CGR comes with.
Once back, it is time to make a decision.
He gets there a little earlier than planned. But what is he looking to do…
Well this isn’t gonna go well.
But Cosmic Ghost Rider is’t one to mess around
And what I imagine will be the second print cover (out July 25th), and my favorite image out of the book .
? ? ?
Yes.
Donny Cates is good at his job
Looks like it is going to be great. Plus “Baby” Thanos looks like a bad ass.
Grabbed my copy. Went with cover A, and cover A is all I will get.
I went with the Deodato cover b variant.
But hey, to each his own. Fun little read!
Soooo, when do we get a baby Thanos mini series?…and when that does happen will we get an “adult” variant of issue #1?
….or maybe we would get a mini version similar to DVD reprints such as ASM #300…. I’m a sucker…I would buy both.
Baby Thanos, Grails, and Cosmic Ghost Riders – man o man – I’m getting old and salty about new characters
