As a Milo Manara fan, I went a little heavier than I normally would on that cover .. it’s a pretty good book, but so far, shop sales have been lackluster ..
I think for a lot of people its just weird. I’m one of those in the category of zero desire to read or look at it. There’s just something strange for me to look at art and story sexualizing a pig girl….
I would highly recommend reading it. It’s much more than sexualizing animals. It’s like The Handmaid’s Tale meets Animal Farm.
I ended up really enjoying it. Wasn’t sure how I felt before reading it but ended up liking it.
I’m sure theres more to the story but I lost interest once they created the skimpy cover B sexualizing the pig girl and the other sexual tendencies within the book. I’m not a psychologist but to me, there’s a lot of underlying issues at play I think for someone to write such a book. Sure we anthropomorphise animals all the time but once we turn such a character into a sexual desired object, for me that crosses the line and I have zero desire to read or watch such things.
I thought it was pretty darn good.
I pre-ordered the first 2 issues, a bunch of the #1 b covers. I flipped through it in the store and I’m not too into it, so I probably won’t be pre-ordering it anymore.
Do we really need 3 covers for a 2nd print?
Haven’t read this yet but want the Manara cover because im a fan.
