Books hit the shelves Wednesday mornings, but sales go on before that. Here is what our picks are doing on eBay going into Wednesday morning.
Grumble #2 Frison Variant – All the cheap copies are gone, now they are being listed from $39.99 to $49.99. Grab one or two, put them up, take a best offer that makes your wallet happy.
Darth Vader #25 Gabriele Dell Otto 1:25 Variant – Selling for 2x ratio. Not bad. Can double up on this great looking incentive.
Freedom Fighters #1 Ben Oliver Cover – Sales in the cover price range, for now. Great rendition.
Amazing Spider-man #12 Ari Granov Variant – Prices have hit as high as $7.99 plus shipping.
Ogre #3 – None listed on eBay, but this issue is the last in the series and will likely have the smallest print run. Previous issues sell solidly in the $12 range.
Let me know if you see something that we missed.
I might also check amazing spider-man 12 sales, as they are steadily approaching double cover, which is a breathtaking one and also a tiered incentive.
I noticed that tonight.
The ASM #12 Granov Galactus is a tiered variant??
No. Just a regular B cover.
You had to match a certain threshold of your previous orders for ASM to be able to order it. Sorry, should have typed threshold variant there. Regardless, it wasn’t an open order B variant.
It sure seems like Marvel has found/created/stumbled upon a profitable spec loophole in their cover price variants with these match or exceed order books. I hope most retailers don’t fall for it. For specs sake that is (and their own, i suppose, maybe).
Its a great looking cover but just couldn’t pull the trigger on this one.
