Spoilers: Avengers No Road Home #1

Avengers No Road Home #1 is in stores tomorrow. It is the follow up to Long Road Home, which ran in the regular Avengers series a little while back. The book features some sweet variants including the Mark Brooks 1:25 Variant and the  Adam Hughes 1:50 Variant. Anyway, on to the spoilers.
Bruce is back… (We saw this in Immortal Hulk)

He is just not so sure he is back.

So someone steps in…

Someone else is back too and she is building a team.

Hulk is the first one recruited. The second, someone Hulk might not be so happy to see.

Hulk sets him straight.

Hulk invites him along.

And puts him in his place.

Nice to see it get worked out….

A few more cast members are selected. And shortly after the conflict comes up. What is a superhero book without conflict, after all. The conflict takes place in……

And right away we get casualties. The first one….

But who did this….

Um… Who?

Thanks for clearing that up Wanda. But you must never say here name, sure it will be fine…

Oh… Maybe not. (NYX first appears in Dr. Strange #31, thanks to Jeremy for that).

    1. Yes, it’s not much of a cameo either if you ask me. Here’s a picture of the only pane she shows up in, no name (I circled her). Only referred to the Fear Lords. It’s also in the back story.

First Full is in Doctor Strange #32 most definitely.

First full in the Back Story as well, titled “A Gathering of Fear”.

      1. There’s actually another image of her at the last panel of issue #31. Here’s to hoping she is a new character instead.

  1. not the Same NYX,The Queen Of Night is NOT the Fear Lord Nox that is in the Dr Strange book…Shout Out to Gary Nusser for cracking the case ..therefore this book is a 1st Appearance

    1. Takes all the fun out of the possible spec first appearance. I’d rather see the dollar bin books heat up than it be an entirely new character that has a better chance of vanishing than heating up as an ongoing antagonist for the Avengers.
