Books hit the shelves Wednesday mornings, but sales go on before that. Here is what our picks are doing on eBay
going into Wednesday morning.
Like I said in my picks… Big Week. Lots of good books to grab… and flip.
Punchline #4
– A steady seller at $9.99, but if you can find the Valentines Day Foil Cover you could be looking at more. Listings on these are from $45 and up so need to see where the first sales land at.
Grumble #4 (Regular or Variant) – Regulars are listed at listings at $9.99 and up, with the variants being listed in the $12 and up range.
Appalachian Apocalypse #2 – Sales at $7.99
Knights of the Golden Sun #4 – Series has lost some heat but still, sales of $7.00 to $7.99 recorded.
Wulfborne #1 – currently at almost double cover, sales at $7.00 .
Venom #11 – regular at about cover price , for now, Watchmen Variant at $7 -$9.99, and Skrulls Variant hovering around cover. Wait for the spoilers and these could pop.
High Level #1 Cover B Variant Francesco Mattina Cover – was hovering around cover but now in the $13-$17 range.
Return Of Wolverine #5 Cover B Variant Adam Kubert Cover – Creeping up, currently at the $6 mark
Variants
Avengers #15 Gerald Parel Captain Marvel Variant – This should be cover price in your local comic shop, however, it is selling for $8.99 and up . Most recent sale was nearly double the lowest sale price at $16.99
Hulkverines #1 Cory Smith Variant – This meeting of the Hulk/Wolverine mix-ups is selling above ratio at $34.99 and up. Most recent sale at $49.99. A bunch of these at auction going for about ratio with time to spare.
Guardians of the Galaxy #2 Matteo Scalera Variant – This is the big book of the week. A 1:25 incentive variant selling for above ratio. Currently at $39.99- $45, as under cutters set in to sell the book off quickly, but pre-sales in the $80 range. Wait until the undercutters sell out their cheap copies.
Solo A Star Wars Story Adaptation #5 Cover B Incentive Scott Forbes Variant Cover – Another, “good luck finding one” cover. No sales yet but books are being listed at $50.

What’s the Print run on those Knights Golden Sun? I’ve still never physically seen one copy at my LCS
No idea but I know they are pretty low
According to Comic Chron, in November 2018, 843 copies were sold to retailers. Issue #2 doesn’t even show up on the monthly sales list for December 2018, which implies <461

I’ve seen seen on the cop of each issues 1-3, and i bought and flipped them.
Any spoilers on GOTG #2 yet? From what I’ve heard it doesn’t have much going for it but will wait to see

Ive heard that it is not what you may be expecting, but it may hold something else.
Nightwing may have a 1st of a female Nightwing and Aquaman may have the 1st Namma.
The first female Nightwing is cool.
Im not a DC guy. Whats going on w/ that book, Tony? Is it a 1st, or has she been around before?
Dick Grayson stepped down from being Nightwing after he was shot in the head. He w has a team of Nightwings. There is a sweet Batgirl typed female Nightwing that appears this issue.

Wulfborne was one the worst books i’ve read this year. Don’t anyone was money on it.
