Anything that relates to Immortal Hulk is hot, that series turns everything touched by it into gold!
It’s the new Venom!
Venom wishes
I second that.. Venom was hot at first but it’s not sticking like Immortal Hulk.
that’s true…I’m pretty sure Cates is fully aware of how well Immortal Hulk is doing..I wonder if he has anything up his sleeve to counter.
Anyone guessing what Marvel is printing Immortal at nowadays? The cat’s out of the bag. Im playing it safe and buying doubles, but most folks seem to be chasing tie ins and not the actual title these days. Our stores have been hip to this IH thing since issues 10/11 and usually have extras come Friday. The writing is good, but I think the heat for #2 drove this insanity in the first place, now its all piecemeal.
I think the heat is definitely still there Thor immortal hulk but I do think you’re right with print run. I’m sure marvel has increased at least a moderate amount but that’s just a guess. I got to my comicbook store well past 5 p.m. on Wednesday and they still had about 15 of the cover B editions but only bout five of cover A left. the past he’s been sold out early so he’s gotten wise ordering more. I think just about every comic shop is ordering more than they were last year at this time.
“for” not “Thor”…
I’m working on the February in Review posts but Immortal Hulk #13 was at 40,496 print run. I’ll be interesting to see if that jumped any for #14.
Both #11 and #12 were around 41k print run size each back in January. So, Immortal Hulk is hot but it seems the print run numbers are pretty steady. But then again, most Marvel books are about 3 months in advance in previews so #14 and #15 might see a jump as FOC was already cut off for #13 when the series really started to take off if I’m recalling the dates correctly.
I am definitely OK with lower print runs on such a hot book. Better odds they will keep their value long term.
Sad thing is, are they considered low nowadays being in the 40k mark range? In February the number 10 book by print number was Avengers No Road Home #1 at 64,505.
Immortal Hulk #13 was number 32 on the top list out of 500 books listed.
I’m guessing the 40k (give or take) print run is for both cover A & B combined? If that’s the case I would think the Ross covers will always be fairly popular even “if” later on down the road the title cools off.
Always bet on cover A, except when Ross does A & B like issue 15!
Yes, to my knowledge the comichron print run sums are for all covers, variants, etc.
Unless they specify otherwise. Sometimes they do split them out.
Yeah, its usually the additional printings but yes, always look for the * next to a book will indicate something that should be noted.
A Die #1 9.8 sold for $249 on Ebay
Damn. Nice.
print runs for Immortal Hulk are only going up. 16 is going to be HUGE
Focus on their earlier issues. Yes, 16 will be massive.
Are they going up? Let’s take a look at their numbers…
#1 – 84,153
#2 – 43,481
#3 – 44,389
#4 – 48,003
#5 – 46,676
#6 – 44,471
#7 – 48,902
#8 – 40,983
#9 – 41,398
#10 – 43,229
#11 – 41,010
#12 – 41,331
#13 – 40,496
And just to throw on top of the print run numbers, way back in November in the November review, it was mentioned that sets of Immortal Hulk were heating up, selling upwards of $150 with #2 heating up out of most of those as the front winner. Even then with the potential heat, we started to see dips in the print runs in January/February.
So it’ll be interesting to see the print numbers for #14, #15 and #16. I don’t think we’re gonna see massive increases. We as speculators are watching this series but I don’t think anyone (retailers and speculators) is over ordering these since they don’t want to get stuck with a stack of books they can’t sell.
My bad Po, didnt check here first you bad ass mofo!! (hope that helps)… P.S. Send me your address via email and I will mail you Blessed Machine. No charge, just send me something random one day if possible….Claude

Haha… I need that wallet from Pulp Fiction. Sweet, I love comic hookups. I always return the favors too. 🙂
I have 6/10 and 11/20 from this list. Was lucky enough to find two copies of Dr. Fate 1 regular cover for less than cover price last week thanks to this forum. Wouldn’t have known to look without you guys!
Awesome
Cates will introduce Gamma iradiated Frank Castle who only lives at night and ironically can only be killed by a bullet in the day.
A gold bullet too….
