  1. I feel like this is the first week since it came out that, “Batman: Damned,”’wasn’t on the list to some degree. Am I wrong or right? Also, I wonder what sets of Naomi 1-6 will fetch on eBay when it finishes the first mini?

    1. i think they will announce a new series right after issue 6 but it will be called her new superhero name. my thought is she is a kryptonian and will end up wearing the S shield

  2. My skills are at “young grasshopper” level with regards to picking winners, but I did great with Naomi. I enjoyed the art, story, low print/under the radar aspects from the start & have it pretty heavily stockpiled. Nice when it’s a book you really enjoy to boot.

    1. It’s amazing as soon as CBSI or CHU posts a top 10/20 list how things start moving on eBay. I’ve had some Naomi #1s on eBay for $25 for a few weeks now (I also stock piled) and just sold 3 in the past 3 days. Time to bump up the price again!

  3. Unrelated, but you guys need to check out the Oni Press website right now!! They are having a 25% off sale and they have the Rick and Morty Nintendo Power variant in stock.

    1. Please dont Bill. There are a plenty of good comics these days. Let them rattle the universes. I look at this War of the Worlds hype and go meh. Hindsight always reveals a diamond in the rough though and these current changes are probably similar. What series strikes your fancy as decent and worth recommending?

  4. Kind of off topic, but I’m seeing pictures of the Incredible Hulk 181 facsimile without the bar code. AL copies I’ve encountered have had the bar code. Anyone else seeing this “variant” out in the wild?

    1. Disregard. The one I saw was just a bad angle. All others are not actual photos. So no “variant” that I know of. Unless the blank cover has a replica cover with no code underneath.

      1. All the blanks and store variants had a regular cover with no barcode underneath. If you are seeing these listed as first prints, stay away. They are pulling the covers off and passing them off as the regular cover. And yes, there are eBay sellers doing this.

        1. Yes. Buyer beware. CGC has stated that there is no edition of Immortal Hulk #1 that does not contain the barcode on the cover. As Tony stated, some sellers are ripping buyers off by removing their store variant cover from the book, leaving behind a Cover A of IH1 that does not contain the barcode. As Tony stated, the blank cover for IH1 had the same ‘second’ cover underneath the blank cover that has Ross’ cover A art and trade dress, but no barcode. These books are not variants, they are severely damaged copies, being passed off as ‘rare’. Buyer beware.

          1. The store variant in question belongs to a group of stores, led by AOD and Brain Trust. Do not trust these shops. They are pulling shady stuff. Buyer beware.

  5. 6/10 and 12/20 for me. Terry Moore books are still my favorite reads. His new series will be connecting all of his previous series’ into a larger story. Highly recommended.

      1. Speaking of immaculate conception we are having another baby and I was never suppose to be able to have kids In the first place. I’m going to be 40 and have a new baby.

    1. Also that Spidey #375 foil cover that’s actually going for money now I have 12 of them pretty sure It’s the highest printed Spider-Man comic ever.
