The hand shown in the first panel looks a little like phyced out Hulk as shown on the cover of Hulk vol 2 #19. Not saying that is him or even if it is that it is a big deal but that issue is pretty much sold out on Ebay right now. There wasn’t a lot of them on in the first place, but five or so sold earlier today. Mycomicshop has zero for sale as well. People love spec’n on that Immortal Hulk!
Is issue 19 the first appearance of that hulk? Does it even have a name/title? Nothing mentioned online about “Psyche-out Hulk.”
It’s on the cover of Hulk #19. Not even sure it is a “real Hulk”. Just noticed people were buying that issue right after that preview went out.
The only reason I noticed it in the first place is I am trying to fill some holes in my Hulk collection and bought this one (#19) in a lot a little while ago. Haven’t read it yet but I will now. Anyway, I noticed some similarities after the preview went up and then checked Ebay and sure enough what copies of #19 were on at the time were already sold.

It’s such a lousy series, I just don’t get the hype. Why is it blowing up? Well-made runs used to not ever increase in price, maybe the first issue, but I can’t think of any Marvel run in the last twenty years where every issue became ‘rare’ just because people dug the book. FOMO is out of control.
That last line in the spoilers makes me feel like Immortal Hulk 1 may have more reason to blow up

I think Jackie McGee ends up becoming more important… I predict her investigation leads her to the green ooze and she becomes something…
Yes, they do keep coming back to that…her wondering. Spoilers show the ooze too.

I feel sorry for all those saps paying over a bill for that 1:25. They had it coming to them. lol
So I said “F*ck this” with respect to speculating immortal hulk and waiting for the next big reveals. Went down to the LCS at lunch and bought issues 14 and 19 of vol. 2. They’re all NM to NM+ For $2.99. If anything they’ll be good reads.
But get this. On the shelf there was a Immortal Hulk 12, Die #2 first print and Naomi #1 all for cover!! They were not there last week! And they Would likely not be there later today or tomorrow.
So even if my older hulk specs don’t pan out, I picked up comics to flip and pay off the investment!
