FYI Anthony, I’ve noticed the volume of the music intro is much louder than your spec review.
It’s always been that way, but since switching to the new intro music intro makes me jump every time…so I turn it down….but then when you start talking I can’t here you so I turn in back up.
Wondering if you or anyone else noticed this. It definitely gets my attention and adrenaline going, if that’s your intent!
Just wanted to point it out.
I need to retool the intro. It’s not you. I forget to adjust the volume on the intro. Mostly because I am doing them between midnight and two AM. Lol. I have the intro saved so need to just reduce the volume on the intro clip.
Also recently replaced my equipment (the microphone a while ago) and new HD camera (the last couple of videos have been straight from the laptop’s webcam so have been grainy) so still figuring out all the settings.
No problem. I’m usually playing it late late Sunday night or early Monday morning before coffee kicks in….so it’s quite the wake up when it starts by blasting heavy treble at me Lol!
It’s all good!
Have google or Alexa set it as your alarm Monday morning. Lol.
Where in the country are you?
Northeast. Between NYC and Boston.
So same time zone as me then.
Uggg Connecticut…… at least you have Foxwoods ?
Yeah…it’s a mess.
I prefer Mohegan Sun. Nice small arena which gets big time shows, great restaurants, a new convention center (home of Terrificon) and all a out 15 minutes from my door.
Foxwoods is alright, though.
Well ur close to me sorta, I’m near Boston. If ur in a pinch and forgot a variant or hot book let me know. I usually order from Diamond based on speculation and eBay sales.
My new idea : Garage Sale Comic book Shop ?
Watch for it on Craigslist this summer
What happened to Things I Like/Dislike?? I had a few grievances to air…was going to get my festivus on…
“I GOTTA LOTTA PROBLEM WITH THIS NEW MIDTOWN COMICS WEBSITE!!!!!!”
Maybe tomorrow night.
Lol. Poyo is on break Monday. Had been swamped at work. Yeah, not being a hater, but I hate the new Midtown website too. Also hating on eBay at the moment. Had two returns last week for big money. Stupid ones too. eBay just rolls over for anyone who has regrets of purchases.
Yes they do, sellers are completely at the mercy of buyers and eBay.
It’s issues like these/knowing this happens that has stopped me from entering the raw book selling routine. I’d love to..but I’d be so irritated over that. Graded books have been great. I suppose you just take the good with the bad.
There are risks with graded books as well. I only sell “cheap” graded books ($150 and under) but the nightmare stories I hear of books being “lost” and scammers claiming refunds (and possibly keeping the book) are a bit unnerving.
I pretty much have been able to acquire the comics I want to have and to hold forever…that I can afford. I got one more then I’m taking a step back from aggressive flipping and eBay. Will be much more casual. Although the temptation will still be there and I won’t say no to guaranteed money.
I got a few Naomi’s coming back in the next few weeks which I’m hoping will be the funding stream to accomplish my goal. Stay hot, Naomi!!!
