Matthew Rosenberg reveals he is writting the screen play for 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank
Not a lot to go on at the moment other than a Tweet put out by Rosenberg. The characters and concept first appear in 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank #1
From CBR.com
Marvel writer Matthew Rosenberg has revealed he’s officially penning the screenplay for the movie adaptation of his Black Mask Studios comic 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank.
“In other me news, I’ve been hired to write the screenplay for the upcoming 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank movie!” He tweeted. “This is equal parts exciting and terrifying! Now I gotta go read the book I guess. I’m pretty sure I know what happens though.”
Sold both of my #1 for $6 but there haven’t been any big sales yet.
Listed every copy I have. Signed, signed and sketched. Variants. Didn’t realize I had so many. Hope they sell now.
These books have been dead for so long. I loved the story and the way the dialogue was written. Def think it can be really good if done right!
I like Rosenbergs Indy writing a lot. He just got saddled with a crappy company.
Yeah, that’s true. Black Mask totally ruined the good thing they had going there for a while.
Yeah I agree. They became a social justice comic company. However, Survival Fetish was good.
I agree….such a great Indy writer. I wish he put out more content in that realm now that he is a mainstay for marvel.
I’d imagine the checks from Marvel are a lot more fatter and rewarding than his indie work…
I wonder if the movie will have many delays like the books did.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I have multiples because Jesse James told me this would be the book one day..
There is still copies left at Midtown. https://www.midtowncomics.com/product/1516426
Mine is signed, but midtown is out of them.
I think all of these are now in the 50 cent bins.. I hate to be a downer but I don’t see this taking off anytime soon as the print run on this book was plentiful.
Buy low, sell high, but don’t get caught with too many copies.
EXCELLENT!!! I loved the story when it came out and thought it was destined to be a movie.
I thought it was a fun read. I pulled all my copies and listed them on eBay however. Lol. Anytime I can make money now is a plus.
