  1. Is this in any way connected to Carnages last series, from a few years ago, were there was some cult trying to resurrect some god thing? Anybody?

    1. So far I’ve found the cult is called Darkhold Cult (Darkholders) and they speak of the Elder Gods, the greatest is called Chthon. Is that what you’re recalling from memory? That was in Carnage Vol. 2 Issue #4.

      1. Ya, that’s definitely it. The whole 16-18 issue run was tied to that story some how. I own it. I may have to go back and read it again.

        1. I started to read that series and recall really digging it. I might put it on the read list again since it’s apparently all on the Marvel Unlimited app now..

  2. This is Jarnom who appears to have survived long enough to have 4th appearance coming. 1st appearance on the Avengers Free comic Book Day issue. 2nd Appearance last month on SA2. 3rd appearance in this issue and since he’s still with Conan who funny enough thinks the voice in his head is Crom and not Jarnom, it prett much guarantees at least one more appearance for this insane symbiote with the brain damage from too much time in the jar. See last months spoiler for issue 2 I believe for more pictures.

Malekeih in WOTR had Goonom, the original Venom symbiote without a host on his sword. There’s another sword out there I thought that doesn’t have an identified symbiote with it. Now to go read my PDF of Venom Annual and figure out how Goonom and Eddie get back together.

    1. Let’s also not forget that there is a clearly established connection between kulan gath and Venom. Though it happened in a Dynamite title there have been precedents of character crossovers becoming canon or at least establishing first appearance. The series in which it happened was Spider-Man and Red Sonja. Issue 3 had kulan gath being venomized.

  3. I want to see a venomized Mjolnir next!

    I’d settle for stormbreaker.

    What other weapons can symboited?

    1. Marvel thinks it is. It’s used twice in this one ad from the May Preview and throughout the rest of the book and online.

          1. Cool One’s do tend to stay around though like putting that – to break up Spider-man so it wouldn’t look so much like Superman or that group name X-Men.
