Its been a long time coming on this one, but Solar Flare from writer James Haick has been optioned for a TV show.
The series first appeared in Solar Flare #1
which was self published, before moving to Scout Comics. Sources close to the creators said an official announcement will be made this weekend (Sunday).
There was a Baltimore Comic Con Variant put out by CHU for the release of Scout’s release of Solar Flare.

Solar Flare is TV. Heathen is Movie. If you have the books then it’s a great time to list. The official announcement comes out Sunday so more media sources will cover it potentially selling more comics.
I may be jaded in my Old Age, but an “option” does not mean a whole lot these days .. although it does seem to sprout eBay listings that tout “TV Show / Movie COMING” ..
So there are different kinds of options. An option by a studio means it will most likely get made. An option by a producer means it still needs to get shopped to a studio. The first is better than the second. But, it ends up moving books. I have been selling the hell out of Solar Flare this week.
