These are some nice signed books.I am not sure if i will order.Midtown has gotten very slow at shipping.I just received 3 separate orders and only 3 books out of 12 were in acceptable condition.Cover dings bent corners bent splines.These books should never even made it to shipping.The packaging was fine.Not sure what’s going on in their QC department but they need to take a better look at books to pull out damaged ones.Since they started shipping books out with upc showing to minimize handling they quality has gotten worse.Rethinking how much i order from them now.I have been with them for many years have never seen it this bad.
Yeah like glacier slow typical ship date is now 7-10 days from the order date.
They’ve had the “shipping delayed” banner up on the top of their website for a few weeks it seems. Perhaps they need to hire more packers if they’re so behind in all their massive orders..
and people that can recognize a damaged book and not ship it out.
You think those likely minimum wage employees care? They’re likely told to pull, pack, label and tape it up. They don’t sit there and grade every book before packing them. I’m not saying this is a valid excuse but you have to imagine a portion of buyers are buying to just read and not to collect, hoping or that 9.8 grade.

I agree. The ship time is horrible. I had an order with copies of Naomi 1 & 2, amongst others, not even show up a several months ago and have not ordered since. I was pretty pissed watching the prices skyrocketing and my order never coming. They sent the shipping confirmation and tracking but the order never arrived. They issued me a refund after 2 months.
I ordered the Teen Titans 1 Lobo’s daughter variant from them a while ago, and the comic came is terrible shape. It looks like they forced the comic into a box it didn’t fit (because of poor packing) and it ended up with a huge crease through the middle of the spine that webbed out throughout half of the book. They were being really shifty about giving me a refund and kept saying I need to end my PayPal dispute before they would refund me. I’ll never order from them again. It’s almost like the employees are bitter and WANT to screw stuff up.
