Good riddance. That 1:25 and 1:50 Alejandra Jones 1st appearance (Ghost Rider 1) were impossible to acquire anyway so now I have even less motivation. Glad to see them continuing to jettison the deadweight.
One can still order Absolute Carnage Symbiote of Vengeance #1 from TFAW currently. Midtown still has them in stock as well. It’s a cool concept but I wouldn’t go heavy, just a book to watch.
Marvel still on the Mash-up wagon, eh?
I like Danny Ketch, but Hard pass for me.
Destroying the Marvel universe one Carnage book at a time. Symbiotes are supposed to be afraid of fire wouldn’t the Spirit of Vengeance burn Carnage to a crisp. Not my Marvel Universe.
He is not affected by fire.
What about noise? Can ghost rider scream in his ear? Blow a whistle? Play a Celine Deon record?
Now that just sounds like cruel and unusual punishment. Waterboarding would be kinder than Celine Dion.
Kasady is also immune to the effects of all Earthly diseases and infections as long as he remains bonded with the symbiote. Like Venom, the symbiote is vulnerable to sound (to a much smaller degree than Venom) and heat (to a much larger degree than Venom), from wiki. Carnage was only fire proof when he was attached to the Green Goblin. Carnage has always been really powerful with extreme weakness to fire, the AntiVenom symbiote, and the Poison race.
I guess the power of Ghost Rider just threw his weakness to fire out the window.. 😉
I also don’t even know how Carnage came back to life after being ripped in half in space by Sentry. Bendis killed Carnage for a reason.
That’s why he looks so funky. The really thin waist. He doesn’t have a lower half.
And Carnage kept him alive. Even through reentry. I think it was in Web Of Venom Cult of Carnage.
Carnage is indeed weak to fire however Ghost Rider doesn’t have fire, but Hellfire.
As per the spirits of vengeance #6 issue (awesome venom cover by the way) it is revealed that Ghost Riders fire doesn’t affect Venom and his penance stare even less.
So this may be the reason why Carnage doesn’t get hurt from GR fire.
I do agree however that they are kind of OPing Carnage here, but this can also be due to the fact that he is powered by Grell, Knull’s dragon.
I believe they mentioned it previously that when Carnage came through the atmosphere from space it changed his problem with fire.
Is Ghost Riders ‘fire’ magic fire or real fire? If its the former, it may not have the same effects on the Carnage Symbiote. Idk, just throwin that out there. Because, technically, if GRs fire is real fire, then the CGR should flame out in space as there would be no oxygen to fuel the fire. ?♂️
What Al said. ☝️
It’s another setup story for the Ghost Rider story with this getting Jones down with the rest of them. Sounds like an interesting story to come soon.
