Marvel has a history of putting some more mature content in their comics. Blind Adam has been spotlighting some of them. Its been a while, but here is his latest Hidden Gems Spotlight.
We are in Captain Marvel mania, movies, cosplay, cartoons, comics, toys, and even an “adult parody” coming out. But did you know that there were already adult actors in the Marvel Universe, some even sharing names with other super heroes? Sure, I spotlighted Marlo Jones stint in adult films in the Marvel U already, but here is one that just was too funny.
Today we feature Nextwave Agents of HATE #7, this one is all about one panel. One of the characters in the Nextwave series is named “The Captain.” He talks with Machine Man about he went about taking his super hero name.
He struggled to get the right name. Seemed many were already used.
And finally, he decided on a name that was known to the Marvel Universe, Captain Marvel, but seems there was some conflict with it.
