Page 6 is Lord Humungous from Road Warrior!
Is that Anya ?
I do not believe so. This girl seems more African American than of Hispanic descent like Anya is
The 1:25 should predate the convention books should the book ever heat up. Maybe theyll throw out a second print with the new character on the cover.
That makes no sense. They were both printed at the same time.
If you slab a convention variant youll see that it has the convention date.
So everything that was put on the shelves for today will have todays date associated with them…..lets say a convention variant comes out tomorrow itll be considered october 3rd despite the fact that it may have been rolling through the printers at the same time that the october second books did. This is my understanding of how it works but im not an authority and would like it if someone in the know would chime in.
The date will be the date in the cover in month and year..unless you get he book sign d I don’t believe slabs have an actual day of the month on them.
And “convention” variants are likely grouped in with “store variants” when it comes to collectibility…rarely do they jump in value but some hit gold.
If he demand is there I can see a second printing with spider-zero on the cover…it’s be cool if all the new characters made a cover appearance. I’d buy that, but I’m passing on the first print.
NYCC Variant is available on Midtown’s site
