Nebula can be such a cool character and who I thought was one of the more enjoyable characters in Avengers: End Game.
So hearing news of her getting her own title sounds awesome, at least that’s my initial reaction.
Posted a few days ago was the announcement of her self titled mini-series hitting shelves in February of 2020.
I really dig the cover art by Bartel as well. Maybe with Nebula getting her own title now for the first time, her first appearance (Avengers #257) could see some more love on the secondary market, which I think is an underrated book for a character that played such huge roles in the MCU.
NEBULA #1, written by Vita Ayala with art by Claire Roe and Jen Bartel cover art makes a splash this coming February.
What does everyone else think? Is it about time she got her own series or is she still a supporting cast type of character?
You can read the Refinery29.com article that was first to announce this new title and short interview with the writer here.
I enjoyed Nebula throughout her history in the MCU. I think there could be a ton of potential for great storytelling using this character. ?
Avengers #257 is definitely and underrated book considering how much exposure this character has gotten the past five years or so. Her own series mini or not will only help.
