    1. Well, if no one is buying the slabs at regular cost, it’s just about moving inventory now to cut more losses. That’s how the retail game is played in just about every market.

  1. Thanks for the list! The thing that frustrates me about these listings is how sellers charge $10+ for shipping. Just charge more for the item and make the shipping closer to actual cost. This is like a sneaky way to get a few extra bucks out of buyers who might not be aware of actual shipping costs. Sellers should know that when they use “calculated” cost for shipping, EBay overcharges the buyer by a couple bucks which is ridiculous! Now you know and knowing is half the battle.

      1. It appears that most of those listed are priority flat rate. The sellers in those cases aren’t trying to take extra money. In fact, some are charging less than the cost of the flat rate service. Thanks for pointing that out! I just wanted to acknowledge that I was wrong here.

    1. eBay gives you 10% off shipping because they charge you 10% of the shipping cost later. Buyers should be aware that the seller is not saving anything.

      1. In my experience, the charge to the buyer is significantly higher than 10%. I have a 12oz package that is “calculated” at $5.49 to buyer, but my cost is $3.96. After you ship a few, you can figure out a decent flat rate that covers the ebay fee. In most cases, the ebay “discounted” price is exactly what you would pay to ship in person at USPS, but ebay is taking 10+% and paypal is taking 3-5% of whatever the buyer pays anyway.
