Things I Like and Dislike for the Week of December 4th, 2019

It’s that time again, where I tell you what’s really grinding my gears for the week of December 4th, 2019.

Some weeks it’s mostly likes, other weeks it’s dislikes.

So what’s grinding my gears this week?

180 Days

What does that mean? 180 days? My FOC highlight pick yesterday marked the 180th consecutive day I’ve done a post here on Comicsheatingup.net.

So back in the summer I noticed that it kept going up, telling me my streak each day. At first I didn’t think anything of it (I would hit 15 to 25 day streaks all the time before that) but then I started to take notice when it hit the 40 day mark (I never got that high before) since that’s over a month straight of posting every single day.

I brought this up to Anthony and then he started paying attention and had his own streak going there for a while, which I think he got to a tad over 100 days before he goofed and missed a day.

So yeah, 180 days is about 6 months of a new post, every single day. Should I go for a year now? I’ve been joking with Anthony I was going to hit 180 and then quit…

Black Friday

A huge thanks to all you that are CHU readers and bought from my listings for Black Friday. I still have books left and I hope to keep adding over the next few weeks as time permits.

I was out of town until today so I hope to start packing and shipping out books this Monday.

Bushman in Moon Knight

I read that Bushman will be a villain in the upcoming Moon Knight Disney+ streaming show.

As a life long Moon Knight fan, any news gets me pumped for this show.

Bushman made his first appearance in Moon Knight #1 which is still on the affordable side for most collectors. Being a villain won’t add much more value I think since this is a first issue.

When it’s announced that Black Spectre is in the show, Moon Knight #25 will be the book to own. It’s only a matter of time.

    1. It’s a streak of creating articles, not comments. But I can probably do a SQL query on the database to find out streaks for comments.
