Venom #21 1:25 Mark Bagley Variant – These sold well over ratio a few weeks ago. Now you can find them for around $15 give or take.
Dr. Strange #1 Hidden Variant – I was all over grabbing these up until my local comic shop started charging $10 each for them. Anyway, these have sold up to $15.99 shipped.
The secret variants have kind of lost their luster. Still fun to chase, but not paying over cover.
I have a Venom 7 tongue variant i paid $15 for the day it came out because it looked 9.8…need to send off to CGC someday.
Also have an Avengers 792 secret variant…found it in a $1 bin, after a press it came back graded 9.8.

My lcs used to put them out into the regular issues. Now they separate them out and charge $10. Not a chase at that point b
One of my LCS’s doesn’t seem to notice…In the past few months I’ve found 3 one-per-Store variants in the shelf and paid cover (Absolute Carnage #1, Dark Crystal Age of Resistance #1 and Power Rangers/TMNT #1).
Kept the Dark Crystal as It’s a nostalgia thing for me….flipped the other two.
