Final Order Cut-Off is the last day that shops can guarantee their orders for comics. After Final Order Cut-Off, or FOC, these books will only be available to retailers on Advance Reorder. And that is not guaranteed. So here are the highlights for Monday, 1/6/20’s FOC list.

CAPTAIN MARVEL THE END #1 – Kelly Thompson returns for the end of Carol Danvers.
DEADPOOL THE END #1 – See how it all ends for Deadpool in this Final Deadpool story.
FANTASTIC FOUR ANNUAL #6 FACSIMILE EDITION – Not often you see Fantastic Four make the list, but this reprint of the 1st appearance of Franklin Richards and 1st appearance of Annihilus
IMMORTAL HULK GREAT POWER #1 – Hulk leaves Banner and takes up host in Peter Parker. Interesting concept, should be fun read.
RAVENCROFT #1 – focusing on Marvel’s Arkham, this series looks to rehabilitate some of Marvel’s most psychotic characters.
WEAPON PLUS WORLD WAR IV – What do you get when you cross Man-Thing with a ton of guns, Man-Slaughter… Actually cool looking concept.

BIRDS OF PREY #1 – new Black Label series gearing more towards the movie, but with a creative team of Brian Azzarello and Emanuela Lupacchino, I am ok with it. J Scott Campbell provides a great variant.
INDY
FRANKENSTEIN UNDONE #1 – Mike Mignola doing Frankenstein again. Awesome.
POWER RANGERS TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1 UNLOCK B&W ED – Bleeding Cool ran a piece on this one saying it could be the lowest ordered cover. Retailers may skip over ordering this one.
QUANTUM & WOODY (2020) #1 – Quantum and Woody relaunch for a new limited series.

There was nothing for DC this week really, which is a shame. I had birds of prey written down wrong. It happens when I hastily jot down notes.

I think the second printing of redacted will do well. Especially being the first cover appearance of redacted.
Miles Morales Spider-Man #13 2nd Print, 1st Billie Cover
She drools, she sleeps, she cries when she’s hungry, she poo’s.. She’s Billie Morales! Next issue will be Miles baby sitting and we’ll get a full page spread of Miles changing her diaper.. Gonna end up being a classic issue! Don’t miss out, cause we.. DEMANDED IT! 😛

You sound upset.
I mean I can see being upset if you preordered a bunch of #16, thinking it was a first cover. I’m guessing, you that dissent, are against children being lauded as first appearances.
I don’t think baby first appearances will hold any value. If she ever becomes something more, her becoming a hero will be the winner book..
Right now it is just speculation On who she will turn into. I am good with spec for spec sake. Everyone should spec on what they like. Personally I have sold most of my copies of her first appearance so I made money and am on to the next spec.
We start spec’ing on every first though, things gonna get out of hand. Why can’t she just be Miles sister, part of the story? She could turn out to be nothing more…

If she (Billie) turns out to be Spider Zero, then her 1st happened long before MM13.

No, I just think the whole hype around a character like this is just absurd. She’s just Miles baby sister currently.. there’s absolutely nothing special about her right now!

By the logic that babies or children cannot be first appearances or relevant appearances, then Dylan hasn’t had a first appearance or a relevant appearance. Being that he is not an adult.
I would say there is a difference in that. Dylan is a child character, so is Billie, but look at first Cable vs baby Nathan Summers. First cable is worth way more. If Billie does end up being Spider-Zero, than she has already had a first appearance as Spider-Zero. If the reveal happens, there could be an uptick in the baby appearance but not as much as her first unmasked older appearance most likely. But like I said earlier, everyone should spec on what they like and feel comfortable with. Go with your gut.
Only time will tell I guess. I still believe picking up a couple copies and stashing for later can’t hurt. I never put all my eggs in one basket.?
I believe though that you all are saying it is not dependent on age but on character development.
I never said that myself.. I only said normally baby firsts appearances don’t hold as much value as when they become heroes with a new alter ego hero name, etc.
I’ll ask again, show me one baby first appearance that is of any significance. FF ANnual 6 doesn’t count (or is greatly skewed) because it’s value is based on the first appearance of Annuhilus. Need a better example.
But that’s just historical facts. spec what you want. Stranger things have happened, like a $200 sale of that Detective Walmart 100 pg giant.
Tis why I’m gonna be skeptical on babies as first appearances and spec’ing on them. Sure they might of seen an uptick when first released but I don’t see the long term hold or value. I think the time to flip is now.. well, really, two weeks ago.
