Poyo’s FOC Highlight Book for 2/10/2020

Another FOC Monday is upon us comic book collectors. FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and more than likely get at a discount for pre-ordering. It’s essentially the last call for pre-orders.

This weeks pick I’ve been waiting for. It’s got that futuristic yet western feel to it. This week’s FOC goes to Join The Future #1 from Aftershock Comics.

Join the Future #1 (Cover A - Kowalski)The Future. Ultra-modern megacities reward millions of their citizens with a completely funded life, with every need met, from food to housing and healthcare, in order to com-pete in an economic power struggle in which population is key. But a few rural residents still cling to their independence in what last American small towns are left. When a nearby megacity pressures the people of a small town join up or else, a young teenage girl named Clem will learn how far she’ll go to defend her prin-ciples.

Written by Zack Kaplan (LOST CITY EXPLORERS) with art from Piotr Kowalski (Port of Earth, Eclipse, Sex, Marvel Knights: Hulk, The Dark Tower), JOIN THE FUTURE is a sci-fi western that examines a future where everyone must ask what your values are truly worth.”

There is also a 1 in 15 incentive variant. Retailers can order 1 copy when they order 15 of the regular cover. They can also purchase two additional copies at $4.99 each. So it’s only a true 1:15 if shops order 45 copies each. Any more or any less, the 1:15 gets thrown out the window.

After reading an advanced preview copy, looking forward to the next issue.

  1. Does look good thanks. Was wondering what happened to 451 Media Group, they had some good titles

      1. Let me pre-order the regular cover without issues. the 1:15 says they only have 1 in stock so I didn’t click that one.

    1. The 1:15 might be out of stock then… Maybe a goof on their end. The regular should let you order as many as you want since its still ahead of FOC.
