Variant Picks of the Week for February 19th, 2020

Picking variants has been fun. I’m going to keep doing these weekly. This week has some great covers.

Skulldigger and Skeleton Boy #3 has a pretty slick Patric Reynolds Variant. I’m not that familiar with Reynolds work but if he keeps doing covers like this one, I’ll certainly become a fan.

I really dig this next cover for Transformers #17 by Marcelo Matere. It’s only a grab though if I find at cover price.

I love the grit (in a cartoon style) this next cover does for Conan on Conan the Barbarian #13 by Infante. I think the other think that draws me into this cover is it’s a far cry from the computer generated looking cover art that seems to be taking over so many books.

Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider #3 by Ozgur Yildirim is both hilarious and awesome. Maybe I’m just a sucker for skulls on covers. It’s a pickup though only if I can find for dirt cheap, not the retailers ratio set price.

If you’re going to buy Wolverine #1, the only cover for me is the Alex Ross variant.
