Another FOC Monday is upon us comic book collectors and speculators. FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering.
It’s a smaller week, nothing really stood out except Deadpool #4 primarily due to just loving the regular cover. I don’t expect this one to heat up but it’s just a great cover.
I got to see an advanced preview of Guardians of the Galaxy #3 and I can only say that they truly make it appear that Peter did die in the last issue as most of the issue was Gamora mourning her loss.
We all know deaths don’t last long but it will still be interesting to see how the story pans out. This issue on FOC this Monday indicates at the end that someone is out to kill Rocket now.
The last mention goes to the Spider-Woman #1 Momoko Variant. It’s a 1:25 ratio variant and the print run will be big on this so it’s not going to be terribly hard to get but I think a lot of smaller shops aren’t going to qualify.
Like her artwork or don’t like it, most seem to dig it as it sells well on the secondary market.
This one is already seeing pre-sales between $30 and $40.
I preferred the Kaare Andrews 1:25 variant of Spider-woman #1. Reminds me a negative space JTC cover
Yeah, I like Andrews too. It’s a good cover but it just felt like something else is missing from it.
Maybe if they did some webbing for the background.. that would make it pop more.
