Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems Vol. 115

Greetings my Comics Heating Up family. How is everyone holding up during this locked down time? Hope your all safe, healthy, and enjoying some amazing entertainment and making money online. Before we make money with comics I want to point a few things out, Fantastic Four X-Men #3, Hell Arises #4, and Spawn #306 were my reads of the week. The Chilling Tales of Sabrina season 3 was epic. I really enjoyed Birds of Prey and I am excited for May 1st as we get the rest of Rick and Morty season 4. Remember to wash your hands, stay at home, and be safe, now lets make the money with some comics cause you can’t teach that.

1. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #3 – Sabrina on Netflix is #awesomesauce. The last three episodes of season three had me on the edge of my seat. This is the first appearance of the Dark Lord, love the Dark Lord. All Sabrina books are worth the buy $10 and up

2. Little Archie #61 – first little Sabrina.  All Sabrina keys should not be ignored. I believe we will get a season four of Chilling Tales on Netflix the cast does the convention scene. Archie has an amazing connecting universe on TV. It rivals the Arrowverse for me. books like this and Jughead #9, all three covers and the Afterlife with Archie #6, and Archie’s Mad House #36 for first Salem the cat, and even Chilling Adventures #2, the first Madam Satan are all good buys happy hunting

3. Batman the Adventure Contains #1 Frankies Comics Peach Momoka variant. Kevin Fields is #awesomesauce as is Frankies Comics. Surprised this is coming to print. As a digital comic it was one of my favorite reads in a while. Paul Dini still has it. Red Hood in the animated world is sweet, as is this limited color and black and white covers. Peach Momoko is the next J Scott Campbell #testify

4. Playboy Magazine March 1967 – this is not everyone’s cup of tea but an interesting piece of history. It features Sharon Tate the actress that was murdered by Charlie Manson’s cult. It also features an interview with the greatest voice actor that ever lived, Orson Wells the shadow &transformers #testify copies are cheap and this is a peace of American history plus cgc grades playboy magazines and I wonder what a 9.8 of this would go for $35 and up

5. Batman No Mans Land Gallery #1 – pre-dates Batman Harley Quinn One Shot and has a Harley Quinn pin up, so I am calling this the true first of Harley in the DCU proper #testify $20

6. Spectacular Spiderman #176 Mark Jewelers variant – Credit goes to Comic Tom and Nick of Key Collector. Sure, the Corona related character is tacky, but these books are selling. The character of Corona is not going anywhere for awhile, sadly, just like the real life virus. Plus if you are a Mark Jewelers collector, you need it for the set. By the way, just to clarify, the opinions stated in hidden gems are Blind Adam Wonders alone.

7. Spiderman Unlimited #3 (1990’s Series) the third appearance of Corona the female fever giver of New York City, yes this is in poor taste, but again, these sell #testify $10

Well that is all for this week. To everyone here that has reached out, thank you. Thank you for spending time with me on the phone, or messages, thanks for being such a great blessing during this time. Remember, stay at home, wash your hands and lets kick this virus ass.
love you guys

  1. Sharon Tate was murdered by Mansons followers, not by Charlie himself. Charles Manson was not even present at the Tate murder scene.

Fun Fact: “Never Learn Not to Love” is a song recorded by the American rock band the Beach Boys, credited to Dennis Wilson, and released as the B-side to the group’s “Bluebirds over the Mountain” single on December 2, 1968. The song was actually an altered version of “Cease to Exist”, written by cult leader Charles Manson. Musically, Wilson deviated from Manson’s structure and added a bridge section. Two months after its release, it was included on the Beach Boys’ 15th studio album 20/20.

    1. Remember, Blind Adam does speech to text. A lot of words and phrases get lost in translation and Anthony usually spends several hours editing, etc.

  2. Don’t want to get into it too much, but flipping through a Playboy from 1967 knowing all those lovely laddies are now well into their 70’s?… I dunno. Of course I’m not saying I wouldn’t flip through it if one were in front of me…because I would. I would just have to block out that they are all Grandmothers maybe even Great Grandmothers by now.
