  1. People buy every copy all up when optioned, but only one book to Netflix outside of the Marvel shows has ever really popped Umbrella Academy #1. Even the Marvel Netflix keys to own have all came back down to their normal prices they were previous to the shows.

    1. Locke and Key is doing alright too, but that’s the most recent to air. It will be interesting to see if it can hold its current value for the rest of the year.

        1. I liked Raising Dion on Netflix but the book never gained any traction outside the day it’s option news first appeared.

    2. Yeah, I don’t go nuts over indi TV options anymore….Just soooo many that have never seen the light of day.

  2. You will probably see alot off stuff like this next couple of weeks…with the netflix deal and all…
BOOM has also slowly been gaining market share. If things shake out with these media deals they could possibly overtake Image in Third place…just sayin

  3. What’s amazing to me is how fast they go now with news. News breaks and it’s literally seconds; not minutes anymore when everything is bought up. It’s incredible what news (and that app) does to people

    1. You use to have like 4 hours to get on the train 5years ago but no more now every second counts.

  4. I couldn’t care less if these books hold value.

What matters is that they sell at a premium early on.

We all know most of these books drop, its normal they are independant comics with a smaller market.

What matters is selling when the iron is hot.

  5. Since I have this book, I have no doubt it’ll get zero bump as opposed to JLD going wild for whatever reason (that show will never see the light of day).
