  1. If those are in fact zombies in the vision, then Thor 5 zombie cover should see gains.

    1. They look like Zombies. I am wondering if it ties in with the Marvel Zombies event coming up that shows Galactus dead body landing on earth.

      1. All the pieces for that are in Thor 6… would make sense! So…. zombie black winter coming?

  2. Hope they make the infinity hammer then2nd print cover. Although that’s not a great drawing of Thanos.

  3. I’m not convinced we saw the death of Black Winter… I don’t think Cates is done. New story arc but I think Black Winter is going to be around for the long haul in haunting the Marvel Universe and particularly Thor..

    1. Agree 100%. Turing to dust means nothing when you are one of the most powerful forces in the universe. All Thor did was shut the door on Black Winter. He will open it up again for a future last page, last panel cliff hanger.

      1. Well, that last page is Thor’s death in the future.. Thor #7 will be a different story arc.. so yeah, cliff hanger for future Thor issue.. Cates keeping everyone at the edge of their seats..

  4. After Thor kills Galactus, Black Winter asks Thor if Thor wants to see how Thor dies. Thor says yes. Thors eyes turn black and he has a vision of the future. The Thanos spread with Mojolnir et al is of the future, when Thor meets his supposed demise.

  5. This sort of feels like a rehash of Cates first Venom arc. Might just be me. But if Thor #7 has a cameo appearance of a character that’s going to be his son, then I maybe on to something. 🙂

    1. Nope and Black Winter made Marvel a lot of moola.. so he’ll be back. So prices might dip but if you’re smart, you’ll hold a few for the long term gamble.

    1. So.. Donny Cates creates Black Winter. People are gobbling this up, making each issue out of the story arc to go into 3rd and 4th printings so far.. You really think he turned out to be a dud? You don’t think Cates and Marvel will never bring him back? It makes them money.. you better bet they’re not done with this character.

      1. Prices are already down across the board since Tuesday where i sell and shop online at Mercari. Thor 4 doesn’t even move anymore. Thor 2 1:25 variant back down to below $100 the regular cover below $15 Thor 5 1:25 slipping below $150 the regular cover below $30 already about a loss of half of current prices from a week ago for copies actually moving in the last couple days.

        1. As a seller on Mercari myself it’s because everyone is buying to sell and undercutting. I had some books come to me I posted immediately sold em at a higher price a few days later more people got their copies prices dropped. Its whoever comes first on that app. Then hold and wait it out.

    1. Yup.. It’s all gonna end up tying in together I think. That’s why Thor #6 gave me a reason now to hold my Thor’s instead of dumping them.. we have not seen the last of Black Winter.

  6. Or maybe that’s not Thanos….but an older version of THANE! That’s Thanes black left hand, and would assume he would look a lot like his father when older…?

    1. Thane is exactly what I’m thinking. But it would be weird of Donny to utilize such an under used character like that…

  7. If I was a betting man i would put good money on Black Winter appearing in the king in black as a floaty smoke version of Knull. Now that would make a rather nice 2nd print cover. Im holding my Thor #5 issues.
