Final Order Cut-Off is the last day that shops can guarantee their orders for comics. After Final Order Cut-Off, or FOC, these books will only be available to retailers on Advance Reorder. And that is not guaranteed. So here are the highlights for Monday, 8/19/20’s FOC list.

THOR #6 2ND PRINT KLEIN VARIANT – Reprints have been the rage lately. So hopefully it keeps up for a little while.
IMMORTAL HULK #37 – The First is free, following last issue, and coming for the Hulk.
IRON MAN #1 Kicks off a new back-to-basic Tony Stark. Great looking 1:50 Mark Brooks ratio variant
VENOM #28 – Now that the Black Winter saga is over in Thor, for now, all eyes back on Eddie in Venom.
THOR #7 – But Cates isn’t done with Thor just yet as there is a mad dash to grab Mjolnir.
X-MEN #12 – High Summoner has been getting a lot of attention lately. Keep an eye on X-men #2 (2019)
GIANT SIZE X-MEN STORM #1 BARTEL VARIANT – Storm in the buff on a very eye catching cover.

CATWOMAN #25 CVR B LEE BERMEJO – Originally solicited as a Junggeun Yoon Variant, but this cover is by Lee Bermajo and a great take on Catwoman
DCEASED DEAD PLANET #1 (OF 6) 4TH PTG PEACH MOMOKO VAR – Pretty nice 4th print cover for DCeased by Peach Momoko.

SOMETHING IS KILLING CHILDREN #8 (2ND PTG) – More reprints of the hot series.
HEAVY #1 – New Vault series. Heavy is described as The Punisher for neurotics; Inception for the impatient; Preacher for… well, it’s a lot like Preacher.
STILLWATER #1 – New Horror series from Chip Zdarsky that looks both good and promising.
YOU LOOK LIKE DEATH TALES UMBRELLA ACADEMY #1 CVR C – Umbrella Academy is pretty hot right now. This is my favorite cover, a vampire chimp. Awesome

I have multiples of all these in my cart, and I’m having a hard time checking out lol… anyone else? What’s the real spec behind these issues, other than “It’s Cates!”? We already have full appearances of Virus, Black Winter and Codex. What are we hoping for in these issues?

I mean I get Thro 6 2nd…the cover will be big if the vision comes to fruition down the line, but the others?
There’s no way to know what will be in them. He’s been on a roll with each series so you are hoping something hits. The cover of 28 has multiple Agent Venoms which could be interesting. Thor 7 starts a new arc so no idea what he may introduce.
If you’re still asking these questions you haven’t been paying attention to the market at all.
