Back issues are still running wild. My sales are still through the roof, and I started selling some of my action figures too. I had to upgrade my mailbox to fit how many packages going out, and coming in, I have had. How are you all doing with sales?

  1. I bought a ton of stuff this week some highlights
    Brave and the bold #28 1st Justice League.
    Marvel Spotlight #2 1st Werewolf by night.
    I found super cheap young avengers #1s and Ultimate Fallout #4s those will be flips since I have them already.
    Peach Punchline#1 x2
    Snake Eyes #2 Purple Rain set
    A bunch of Thor #6 2nd prints
    A high grade Forever people #2 1st Desaad
    Atoll #1 x3
    Some Peach variants
    Some 1:25 X-men #2s
    Bought two cases of 5 plastic BCW bins
    A case of 5 CGC bins
    And some bags and boards.
    All the Suicide Squad 2 books I didn’t have
    and quite a bit more.
    Sent another round of books to the graders too.

      Shops cancelling Spawn 309 B orders? Shops jacking up the price before and on day of release?

      What else is a hot button comic book topic?

      Can I ask why you picked up the Atoll #1? I loved that series when it came out and was super disappointed when nothing happened after issue #2. Have always looked for information on if it was ever going to get finished.

      Have you heard anything new about the series? Just wondering, thanks.

      1. A couple listings popped up saying it was optioned but I couldn’t find any news to confirm. But prices went Bananas I got them at cover.

      1. I think he is going to be a major character in this XSwords event so i like the book it’s cheap, it’s X-men, it’s a first appearance. People will catch on soon enough.

  2. Finally sold my extra set of Batman 89/Hell Arisen 3 2nd prints….$20 shipped.

    Probably will lost my other set as I prefer the 3rd prints over them anyway.

  3. My DC books came in today…that’s right I finally got “legends of the dark knight death metal robin king” & dceased dead planet #2 that’s it lol

    1. So…. and I am pissed. I keep saying I need to stop listening to retailers for tips. Before i did the video a retailer reached out to me and said this would be a book collectors of Key issues would want. I said cool. So I run the video. I go out to do spoilers and read the issue. Turns out nothing key happens. I emailed him saying what’s up. He replied he read the wrong PDF when he tipped me off. I can say the B cover is sold out in many places but the key event does not take place in the book

  5. Got a copy or X-Men 2 1:25 variant for cover. Thor 2 4th print x 2, strange academy 1 3rd print x 2 (my first SA copies besides 1 Walmart variant) and 2 copies of legends 2nd print. And obviously if I see copies of that spawn book I’ll grab em, but I doubt they’ll be out.

    These are potential cover price books I’m currently hunting:

    Hell Arisen 3 3rd print
    X-Men 2 (whatever covers I can find)

      1. Kinda funny we’ve had people removing X-Men from their list while others are getting hyped.

      3. I grabbed two copies of #2 from the stack of probably a dozen my shop still has at cover.

              1. Got 1 1st print of #2 and will be back for the 2nd prints if it heats up. Also found 1 hell arisen 3 2nd and 5 3rds for cover. Had a great day digging through bins, found a bunch of modern newsstands including ASM 692. Couldn’t believe my luck finding that one.

  7. 6 copies of Spawn #309 B. That’s the only book really worth mentioning this week. Great McFarlane cover, under ordered because retailers didn’t have the cover art image ahead of time. Sounds like the perfect storm for a hot key Spawn book for years to come. There were tons of copies on MCS last night and people were on here stating they needed one. Hopefully those people all got one on MCS because they are all gone now. Snooze and you loose. I was shocked that copies were just sitting and sitting on MCS’s site. Then the fomo frenzy began! IMO the only other books worth Mentioning are the Canto and Peach variants this week. Excelsior!

    1. Agree it’s a great book. While there were copies on MCS as you mentioned…they were never at cover price & all were specifically listed at NM- or lesser grade conditions.
      As I recall, it was $20 for a 9.2 NM-.
      Atypical for MCS & the reason they sat. Especially with many hoping to find a copy in the wild still at that point.

  8. I looked everywhere (6 LCS) and notta one copy of Spawn Cvr B. Seems like a ghost in my neck of the woods.

  9. Got 3 on pre order from TFAW… Hopefully they don’t “venom stegman” me. LCS closed unexpectedly due to COVID so no regular pulls this week

    1. With Venom it lost the weekly roulette of which title(s) got shorted by Diamond, but it doesn’t look like Spawn was this week.

  11. Hobby store has a customer appreciation sale. So I paid $6.00 for 114 mint recent DC and Marvel comics in plastic bags.

    -It sounds like Matt’s twin shows up in DD Annual #1, I scored a B variant

    -Ghost-Spider, Hellions, and a ballet dancer mutant(?) in X-Factor, from what I have heard
    -Some boilerplate DC books, and some sweet B variants for JL Dark, The Plunge, and WW
    -Bats: Three Jokers is off to an explosive start
    -Super hyped about SIKTC #12 1:25 that I pre-ordered for double ratio over the weekend (just glad to get it! Hopefully..), and may have on reserve, again hopefully, at a LCS. I’ve been getting most of the run for that series, since the start. What an amazing book.
    -A recent study found that comic book people are approximately 85% cooler than regular people. #Facts
    -May you find your grail in the dollar bin in NM condition.

  14. Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman has passed away today due to 4 year long bate bith colon cancer.

    Sadly, BP comics are going nuts on eBay.
