Since Covrprice.com  came on the scene, they have become a go to spot for watching eBaytrends on comics. They scour thousands of eBay sales to cultivate data to spotlight the hottest selling comics. Here is this week’s Top Ten Comics: (Please note, potential spoilers do follow, and, these results are for auction that closed last week. )

#1 MS. MARVEL #13 (MARVEL, 2015) It’s been rumored that Red Dagger and Kamran (an Inhuman) are set to appear in the Ms. Marvel series. While this news circulated last week, it actually goes back to a month ago when leaked casting calls matched the look of the two listed characters above. With that said, Kamran’s first appearance is in this issue and landed in the #1 sport this week by selling 13 copies, had a 7-day trend of 794% and had a high sale of $24.99 for a raw copy.

#2 CYBERPUNK 2077 TRAUMA TEAM #1 (DARK HORSE, 2020) With so much anticipation around this Keanu Reeves centric game, set to release 11/19/20, a lot of heat was brought to this comic. With the trend of video game comics retaining significant value long term, this first issue sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 274% and had a high sale of $20 for a raw copy. Also, the Limited to 300 set (exclusive variant and 11×14 print, which cost $50) had a high sale of $580!

#3 X-MEN #12 (MARVEL, 2020) This issue, which features the first appearance of The Summoners, Isca the Unbeaten, the White Sword, and the first cover appearance of THE HIGH SUMMONER (who’s first is in X-Men #12, 2019) dropped one spot this week. So, it really didn’t go too far. It sold 53 copies, had a 7-day trend of 105% and had a high sale of $18.99 for a raw copy.

#4 AMAZING FANTASY #1 (MARVEL, 2004) Araña’s first appearance in this issue continues to sell REALLY well. It sold 39 copies, had a 7-day trend of 135% and had a new high sale of $459.99 for a CGC 9.8. As we mentioned in the #8 spot, it’s doubtful that she’ll be the Spider-Woman in the film, but we’ll have to just wait and see.

#6 STILLWATER #1 (IMAGE, 2020) Another new release that landed on the list, this horror book from Chip Zdarsky had some anticipation. The premise is simple, “A town where nobody dies”. Those who had trouble finding this in stores turned to online sales, which increased the market value. It sold 16 copies, had a 7-day trend of 197% and had a high sale of $13 for a raw copy.

#7 AUTUMNAL #1 (VAULT, 2020) This new Vault horror series, by NYT bestselling author Daniel Kraus (The Shape of Water, Trollhunters), is the first title under Vault‘s NIGHTFALL horror imprint. #8 ARAÑA THE HEART OF THE SPIDER #1 (MARVEL, 2005) There is speculation that Araña will be the Spider-Woman in Olivia Wilde’s Sony film. It’s a stretch, but the sheer mention of it was enough to drive up sales and prices for all her key appearances, including this first issue to her short-lived solo series. It sold 14 copies, had a 7-day trend of 199% and had a high sale of $18.99 for a raw copy.

#9 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #361 (MARVEL, 1992) We’re all eagerly awaiting a LET THERE BE CARNAGE trailer so we can see Cletus/Carnage in action. #10 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL #16 (MARVEL, 1982) After the official WANDAVISION trailer hit a couple of weeks ago, at the 1:07 mark, many correctly guessed that actress Teyonah Parris (seen laying on the ground) will be playing Monica Rambeau, who later takes on the CAPTAIN MARVEL moniker (among many others). While it’s unknown if she will take on a superhero role, her first appearance is in this issue for fans to buy up all the copies listed online.
