So, What were your pick ups?
I’ll start…I miss when the tomorrow’s comics mad last minute thoughts were discussed here vs. the forum. Anyway, I was going to get a bunch of the LCSD variants, but agree with Anthony that too many are same covers, and don’t seem to be flying off the shelves. Feel like I’ll be able to get later for less. I stuck with SIKTC and the XoS Destruction since it’s a nice Majik bookend to the Momoko XoS Creation I ordered forever ago (and still haven’t received). Save my money for the Black Friday Comic sales this week!
SIKTC is selling well check eBay closed listings. 2X cover at least. Don’t worry. We are integrating forum comments here so you won’t miss out.
Fire Island after Labor Day in here…
I bought 2 copies of the DC Future State LCSD 1 per stores for $100. I called one LCS and he didn’t have any at all. My LCS I buy my books from didn’t answer the phone today. I love the Killadelphia Campbell cover. I think it may be my favorite Campbell cover ever because it feels like Campbell meets Bruce Timm. I will see what’s laying around tomorrow at noon at another LCS. What do people think about the new DC Characters? There’s no sneak peek preview of this thing on here. I’m shocked. I hope to find some regular covers tomorrow. I ordered a few SIKTC LCSD foils. Those were the only 2 LCSD books I am chasing/getting.
Anyone confirm if there are significant previews or cameos in the Future State free book?
My LCS told me they didn’t receive any copies of the DC Future State freebie and they are a multi-store chain. Someone in distribution screwed up. And my LCS could not get confirmation they should expect to receive any after the glitch was realized and reported. Ugh.
I just want to say something about F4 and a writer who’s destroyed Spiderman after J Michael Strazyncki did such an amazing job and that writer is Dan Slott he changes the origins of the F4 he turns Johnny into a complete airhead he’s not a fan of Jonathan Hickmans X-titles and the Inhumans and now he’s destroyed Franklin and Valeria by making fans and readers alike that they’re not mutants how delusional he needs to be replaced Chip Zdarsky should be writing F4 because he listens to fans unlike Slott Ive met him in person and when I asked him will he get Johnny and Crystal he said no now that’s discriminatory on his part and many fans have told me he’s not nice when you meet him he’s gotta go big time everything he touches especially characters turns to dust and the worst character he’s ever created is Sky a character who’s the forced soulmate of Johnny Storm they need to kill her off she’s basically Falcon and Banshee lite.
That was a very long run on sentence.
